Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Because most pieces from Archive of Dreams are made to order, we generally accept returns only for items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. If your order arrived in perfect condition but you’ve changed your mind, we may not be able to accept the return — but you can always email us and we’ll do our best to help.

Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or replacement:

your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging

you’ll need the receipt or proof of purchase

the issue must be reported within 30 days of delivery
Returns will need to be sent to the following address: [INSERT RETURN ADDRESS].
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives and contact us right away if:

the item is damaged in transit

the print is flawed or misprinted

you received the wrong item, size, or frame
Email us at support@archiveofdreams.com with:

your order number, and
-
clear photos of the issue (product + packaging if damaged in transit)
Once we review and approve it, we’ll send a replacement at no cost or issue a refund — your choice.
For damaged/incorrect items, we cover the return shipping.
Made-to-order artwork
Most of our pieces are produced individually for each order. Because of this, we don’t accept returns for reasons like:

“ordered the wrong size”
-
“no longer needed”
-
“color looks different on my wall”
We try to show accurate colors, but screens vary. If you’re unsure about sizing or finish, email us before ordering — we’re happy to help.
When return shipping is covered

We pay: damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

Customer pays: discretionary returns (where we agree to take a non-damaged item back). In those cases, original shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns on:

custom or personalized items
-
gift cards
-
final sale items

Exchanges
The fastest way to get a different size or artwork is to request a return for the item that arrived damaged/incorrect, and once it’s approved, place a new order for the piece you want.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved.

If approved, we’ll refund to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

Lost or undeliverable packages
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, unclaimed parcel, or failed delivery, we can reship it, but additional shipping fees may apply.
